Still not too much to report, but I did make it to the beach twice this weekend, so I wanted to post some pictures. Saturday evening Lishka had a great time at the beach. Unfortunately, she has a very strong and seemingly irrational fear of the camera, so I could not catch her in action. She wanted desperately to be off her leash, so she ran in four-foot circles around me for 20 minutes. Then she found some people to kiss and jump on. Great fun for all.

These pictures are of Goleta Beach, a public beach right near campus. In the picture with the giant branch, you can see the campus in the distance. It's a nice beach, not spectacular, but has lots of group areas for bbqs, picnics, etc. Not nearly the same cramped feeling as the more popular Santa Barbara beach. This beach is only about a 7 minute drive from where I live. In other news, I have internet access at home now, so I can add to this blog, e-mail or get work done at any hour. So, keep those e-mails coming!
