Amusing aside

Not much to report from my end, but it was announced yesterday by Men's Fitness magazine (my primary source of all news) that UCSB is the second fittest college campus in the US... great, there's another ridiculous California standard to live up to. Funny to me was the fact that Brigham Young University took the top honor in this particular competition. As I ventured into Isla Vista yesterday (the undergrad housing/ shopping/partying neighborhood of UCSB), it indeed seemed that there were hundreds of fit youngsters milling about...
